Frequently asked

Do I need a credit card to try?

Free is free forever — no card required. Pro offers a 3-day trial with card on file (cancel anytime before day 4 to avoid being charged). Basic charges $5 immediately so we can skip the trial complexity.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes. From Settings → Manage subscription you can move between Basic and Pro at any time; the change takes effect immediately and Stripe pro-rates the bill. Cancelling drops you to Free at the end of your current billing period.

What happens if I downgrade?

Nothing is deleted. If you cancel, we pause your overflow focuses (the most-recently-used ones stay active) and slow down the refresh cadence to match your new tier. Resubscribing brings everything back online instantly.

Why is Free so limited?

Free is meant as a generous demo — you can build 2 focuses, see what the daily timeline looks like, and confirm we cover your beat. The paid tiers cover the ongoing AI inference and news-source costs.
